Clearspring Mall is a great size for Steinbach. There are quite a few shops in the mall. There is a grocery store attached to the mall and a Walmart beside it. Very clean very nicely organized. They have a lot of things that go on in this mall every year. They have Santa Claus come to town in December. They have farm animals and petting exhibits. They have a book fairs etc..... you would just have to keep an eye out when all these exhibits are on. The downside on this mall is I heard that the rent is expensive so a lot of shops come and go. Would love to see the mall upgraded. The mall still has it look like it's from the 80s. But what can you do when the Winnipeg is only 45 minutes away. But other than that Clearspring Centre is a great place to visit bring your kids and family.
Well, by definition, it's a mall. It's small with very few stores, and is consistently deserted when I have visited. There is Dollarama, Winners, Warehouse One, Sport Chek, Sobeys, Dollarama, Mark's, two pet stores, and several other stores and businesses. Nothing is open in Steinbach on Sundays and they close early Saturdays. Sobeys is the best because they are open until 11pm six days a week.
Have to be careful in men's washroom. Water from the taps is boiling hot and can burn your hands easily.Update: since I wrote a comment a week ago nothing has been done to fix the issue
There are quite a few shops in this centre that serve the local populace. I love going to Reitmans and Dollarama here, especially since the dollar store has expanded their space. There is not a massive variety, with most of the shops selling clothing, but there is some diversity with a salon, sports store, jewellery store, pet shop, electronics, and other businesses. There are also community and buy & sell boards posted before the bathrooms. There is a single restaurant that offers a bunch of different options, but it can be a hit or miss.
